In this class, Bob Aldea will discuss a number of topics relating to routers. He will start by describing the types of routers on the market and help you decide which is best for different types of operations. He will then describe how to choose and use different types of bits, as well as the pros and cons of using a hand held router v a table mounted router. He will describe the situations which dictate each process and then describe the proper process for each operation. Bob will describe a number of router jigs - many of which you can make yourself. He will conclude the class by discussing the need to keep your fingers away from the bit - with a Show and Tell which will get everyone's attention!
