This is a follow up to the Ring Box demo that Dan Douthart did last fall. He demonstrated a technique that did not require any jam chucking to complete both sides of the box and lid. The hollowing technique used was scraping and shear scraping. In version 2 he has altered the work flow and will demonstrate Richard Raffan’s Back Hollowing and also the usage of the One-Way Termite tool to hollow out the end grain. He will also discuss proportions that should give a more pleasing appearance to the box
