Well only 6 months after the final design class last year, the Solar Kiln is some 80% complete. For this class Ricky will briefly recap why there is a need for a kiln and then will briefly describe the drying plan based on research online. Then we will do a very brief look at the original design in Sketchup from last time and will compare, using lots of pictures taken during the build, how that design ultimately changed based on practical experience during the build process. They will follow up with an invitation to visit the site at Louis’ during the day after class for those interested in seeing it first-hand. This should prove to be an interesting and informative class.
