Jane Burke made the art of marquetry look simple in this week's class. Her extensive talent aided by a simple set of tools makes for some beautiful work.
A few tips from Jane included working with the veneer artwork 'face up', cutting the pieces at an approximate five degree angle undercutting the 'keep' piece, and using only type 1 wood glue or white glue.
