Brochure Holder Contest

Our most recent class was a new contest for the Gwinnett Woodworkers Association members - build a Brochure Holder. As a woodworking group it makes sense that we should advertise ourselves using products made of wood. To that end a contest was started. Four GWA members each won a $50.00 gift certificate from Stone Mountain Power Tool Corporation - the equivalent of a year's membership.
The four industrious members contributed a total of eight brochure holders. Five were classified as conforming to the rules and three were classified as non-conforming based on intentionally or otherwise having not met one or more of the rules. All the brochure holders will be presented at the Woodworking Show January 27th - 29th. The four winning entries will be used in various venues to display GWA brochures.

George North - People's choice and Best Craftsmanship - conforming
Wayne Martin - Best Design - Conforming
Doug Haksluoto - People's choice - Non-conforming
Tom Piancentini - Best Design - Non-conforming
