Today's presentation 'Fasteners 101' by Gerry Jones was an excellent example of " So you think you know everything about this fastener stuff". Gerry had examples of various sizes of nails, screws and bolts with all the different materials, plating and coatings. When one lines things up it's an astounding variety of hardware we have available. Lag bolts, hanger bolts, connector bolts, all the different heads and drives. He explained when and why to use each. I'm sure some were educated by this presentation, some got an excellent review and some were humbled.
