In this class we will discuss different blades and their advantages and disadvantages. Also, we will cover different types of pattern design and which method is the easiest to follow with a blade. The majority of the meeting will be involve audience participation. The audience will be divided in groups of 3-4 people and given a 4 piece puzzle to cut. After each group has cut their puzzle, we will take a piece from each group and re-assemble the puzzle. I would like each group to interact with each other and learn each others style of cutting. Interacting with other club members is the focus here, not the quality of the pieces cut. A brief discussion from the audience about the various cutting methods learned will be welcomed after the assembly is completed.
