Those of you who are acquainted with the way Wayne Martin works know that he is always up for a challenge. Recently one of his granddaughters hinted that she would like a dollhouse. Most grandfathers would just go buy one already assembled or maybe even a kit that he could assemble, not Wayne, he decided to build one from scratch! When I say from scratch, I mean from scratch. Wayne made it all including the siding, the shingles and even opening windows.
Today Wayne will explain how he created the miniature components and more importantly how he designed the parts to get the correct proportions.
Just a side note; when I was telling my wife about the dollhouse she said to me, "I would have killed for a dollhouse like that when I was a little girl!" Most of us old men don't realize how special a project like this can be. Do your best to make it to this class, you might end up building a dream that will last a lifetime.
