This class will include two different topics:
Candle Holder Contest - Members are invited to submit any candle holder they've finished within the past 12 months. There will be 2 categories: Master and Open. A $25 gift certificate to Stone Mountain Power Tool will be awarded to the winner in each of the 2 categories. If there are 4 or more entries in a category, additional awards will be given. Last year, this was our most popular contest - let's see if we can come up with some great entries this year!
Hand Plane and Scraper Demonstration - Tommy Roland will be demonstrating the correct use of a hand plane and scraper. If you've ever tried to use these tools and encountered a great deal of frustration or would just like to learn a different way of working wood, this is a great opportunity for you!
