Bob Brokaw will be demonstrating spray finishing by shooting lacquer with an HLVP turbine. Since the lacquer being used is very high in VOCs, the demonstration portion of the class will be conducted under the canopy in front of the store (conditions permitting). He will discuss the preparatory steps for a shoot and will demonstrate the application of sanding sealer, as well as explain why it is used. Along the way, he will discuss what not to do and when that fails, what to do about it. Throughout the class, he will be finishing the cabinet that has been built in the class during the past month. The cabinet will then be raffled to a Club member.
