Alan Noel is the proprietor of Noel's Woodworks in Atlanta and has been a professional furniture restorer for over 25 years. He writes regular columns for "Finishing and Restoration" magazine, has written for "Wood" magazine and is a frequent instructor at Highland Woodworking. In this class, Alan will be discussing different finishing alternatives and techniques. He will talk about French polishing, dyes, stains, and water based finishes. After attending this class, you won't be a finishing expert, but you will have a much better understanding of the different finishes available and how they interact with each other.
