What is the difference between a piece of art and a craft? The short answer is - the pattern. Oftentimes, we see good technique being used with poor patterns which produces a not so impressive result. In this presentation, Jane Burke will show you how to adapt photographs and pictures to make patterns for inlays, marquetry and even intarsia. She will also demonstrate how to apply your inlay into a piece of furniture using a router.
