Twelve members attended this Month's Scroll Saw meeting.

Smitty Highsmith presented the class, which he named "Compound Cuts". I took that to mean cutting two angles at once as on a tablesaw with an angled fence and a tilted blade. However I was wrong - again. In Scroll language that means cutting a shape in two different planes. Smitty showed an example, one profile shows a Coyote but rotate it 90 and you see an Eagle.

Smitty also showed how to clamp and hold very small pieces as you cut. Various blade types and tooth arrangements were discussed.

A nice evening with great friends.  Click HERE for pictures from this class.

Thanks to all the Scroll gang.
