John Eaton, our presenter, will start this class by showing pictures that depict popular furniture styles and their distinctive components. As he shows each picture, you will be asked to "guess" the furniture style. Answers could include Shaker, Queen Anne, Mission, Federal, Hepplewhite, Chippendale, Arts & Crafts, etc. John will then talk about the history of furniture and the changes over the years. After the presentation, you will "grade your quiz results" and the member who gets the most correct answers will win a $25 gift certificate to Stone Mountain Power Tool.
