This is a free GWA hands-on turning event, we are calling “Your Turn” Day. This will not be a typical club demonstration where someone stands in front of the seated group and demonstrates how to turn a Widget. It is more like getting together with a turning buddy in your shop, except with more lathes and more buddies! Bring in a problem piece or just a piece to play with. If you want to get help using a particular tool or technique, chances are good that a more experienced turner will be able to provide some hands on instruction or guidance. Woodcraft is offering 10% off during this event so this is a great opportunity to support our host. This is a members only event.
Location Woodcraft Store classroom (8 mini lathes available for our use)
