Our turners SIG meeting featured Frank Bowers who presented his program "From the Tree to a Bowl". Twenty three of our turners were in attendance and all enjoyed the evening. As you can see, chips were flying and no one seemed to notice.
Frank covered where to split the log and why, mounting the blank for turning, tool selection and exactly what part of the tool to use and why. Finally the process of turning the bowl.
