Once again GWA will provide the annual Bar-B-Q at Peachtree Woodworkers Supply which will feature pork, smoked chicken, fresh corn from Louis' garden and other fixin's prepared by the Alexander family. Costs is covered by the club and of course family members are encouraged to attend. Please for the sake of planning let Walt or Bob know how many are attending by e-mail or at the meetings in the next couple of weeks. This is also the setting once again this year for the annual 2x4 contest. As long as the project is primarily (>80% - use your judgement) prepared from a typical 2x4 sized board (3.5x1.5x96 inches) it is legal. If you haven't already, get your creative juices flowing and bring your entry. Past entries have proven to be both surprising and amazing displays of creative talent and always enjoyable. Bragging rights plus a $25 gift cards to Peachtree Woodworkers Supply for the 3 best entries are at stake and winners will be judged by the membership present. Only one entry per participant can win but multiple entries per member are allowed.
