The Gwinnett Woodworkers Association is a non-profit registered in the state of Georgia as a 501c3 corporation.
Governance
The association (club) is managed by a board of directors. The board is made of of elected, appointed, and permanent members. A president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer are elected annually by a general election of current association members. Club founder Ron Brown is permanent member of the board. Special interest group chairpersons are appointed as board members annually. Additionally other individuals may be appointed as board members or may be invited to board meetings based on special projects and other association needs.
The club is governed by a set of bylaws, available here, which may be modified over time as needed based on board recommendations and membership vote.
All club members are welcome to attend board meetings.

Qualifications
All club members may be considered as candidate board members.
